German World 2008

The opening ceremony with tape-cutting was held on May 29th. Dignitaries included deputy Trade Minister Kwon Tae-kyun, German Ambassador Dr. Norbert Baas, KGCCI Chairman Dr. Huh Young-sup, KGCCI President Dr. Heinz Grewe and Secretary General Jürgen Wöhler.

Visitors could relax and enjoy traditional German cuisine and German beer ar the Maifest Area while being entertained by German music, German traditional games, may dances, erc. A lucky draw was held here each day at 5 pm.

The booked exhibition space by exhibitors of German World 2008 has been expanded by 30% compared to 2005. More than 30,000 visitors came to see the latest innovations and trends of participating companies.

Visitors had the chance to inform themselves about German wines and taste different kinds of German wine at the German Wine Institute booth.
