Position: Ethics Senior Advisor

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Set up the Ethics Office and formulate, review and disseminate ethics related policies, and provide guidance on all ethics related issues in accordance with the Fund’s policies;
  • Provide a facility for staff members to raise any ethical issues. Based on the facts provided by the staff member, provide advice on various courses of action a staff member may take to adhere to the highest ethical standards;
  • Provide guidance to managers, staff members, consultants, and other persons working with the Fund, to ensure that policies, procedures, and practices reinforce and promote the ethical standards called for under the Fund’s policies.
  • Serve as a focal point for raising staff and organizational awareness on ethical conduct and standards within oversight frameworks, strategies and programs as well as human resources management policies;
  • To ensure consistency with relevant rules and regulations, the Ethics Senior Advisor shall seek the views of the Head of HR, General Counsel, Head of Risk and Compliance and Head of Independent Integrity Unit (IIU) or other appropriate authority on the interpretation of rules and regulations in cases where it is unclear, before responding to inquiries;
  • Lead trainings and education to support the ethical behavior of staff. Develop content, strategies and methods for proper information dissemination to all staff members, consultants and interns;
  • Employ mediation principles to resolve conflicts, and to use investigation techniques to clarify issues as necessary;
  • Stay up-to-date with current tools and methodologies related to investigations of misconduct or non-compliance and identify best practices for implementation;
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of the Staff Financial Disclosure Program. The Ethics Senior Advisor will ensure understanding of, and full compliance with, the financial disclosure requirements and objectives;
  • Assess the adherence of the organisations’ operations and other activities to the Fund’s ethic related policies, rules and procedures;
  • Provide an annual report to the Executive Director; and
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to information and only disclose information on a “need-to-know” basis.

 Expected experience and qualifications

  • Master’s degree in ethics, law, mediation, law enforcement, business management & administration, psychology, human resources or related fields;
  • A professional certification in ethics would be an advantage;
  • At least 15 years of professional experience in the field of ethics, advising and sharing knowledge and information. Experience in a multicultural setting is required;
  • Professional and progressive work experience in public and/or private institutions (or international organization(s) or in an international setting) on systems design of ethical standards, ethics programs, organizational ethics, accountability & compliance frameworks and financial disclosure policies;
  • Good track record in designing and delivering ethics training and disseminating knowledge of all aspects of ethical behavior and practices;
  • Experience in conducting mediations and investigations of non-compliance with ethical standards;
  • Highly developed analytical skills and very sound, tested judgement;
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest ethical standards of professional and personal conduct, including ability to undergo a thorough professional, personal and financial background investigation with satisfactory results;
  • Excellent communication. Has the attitude and skills to be influential and persuasive and proactively bridge potential communication gaps when required; and
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential for this position; knowledge of another UN language an advantage.

Mitarbeiter (m/w) für die Administration im Vertrieb und Service in Korea

Ihre Aufgabe:

  • Selbstständige Auftragsabwicklung vom Angebot bis hin zur Rechnungserstellung mit unserem ERP-System proAlpha im Bereich Vertrieb und Service
  • Interne Koordination der Aufträge zwischen dem Headquarter in Deutschland und der Niederlassung in Korea
  • Abwicklung des Im- und Exports unserer Produkte und Ersatzteile
  • Disposition von Ersatzteilen im Lager mit Hilfe von proAlpha
  • Kommunikation mit koreanischen Kunden

Ihr Profil:

  • Erfolgreiches und zügig abgeschlossenes betriebswirtschaftliches Studium mit guten bis sehr guten Leistungen oder alternativ sehr gut abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung mit einschlägiger Berufserfahrung
  • Koreanisch auf muttersprachlichem Niveau und darüber hinaus verhandlungssicheres Deutsch und/oder Englisch in Wort und Schrift
  • Vorzugsweise umfassende Kenntnis der deutschen Mentalität durch einen längeren Aufenthalt in Deutschland
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit ERP-Systemen (am besten ProAlpha) sowie Kenntnisse in MS Office
