Dear Sir or Madam, for some time I think about getting work experience in Asia, because in my future I want to advise and help international companies, which especially have business relations on the european and asian market. For this reason, I am currently applying for jobs and internships in South Korea. After graduating at the University of Vienna in my doctoral studies in Law in 2015, I worked, inter alia, as a candidate at a notary’s office. Since 2016 I am working as an Intensive Care Manager at a bank in Austria in the field of restructuring and insolvency and take care of 50 larger exposures (f.i. foreign currency loans, project finance, corporates). As I want to work in or advise an international company, which try market entry or expansion in Asia, in my future, I therefore have to work in Asia first. There are multiple reasons, why I apply in South Korea and not any other country. One of them - and this is the most important to me - is to experience working in my profession in a completely different working culture and economy. The steadily growing economy of South Korea seems attractive to reach this goal. Besides the benefit of working in a – in almost every aspect – different country, I am sure about the great advantage of such an experience for my personal and professional development. Hence, I would like to support a company in South Korea for 3 to 6 months (negotiable). Besides my theoretical expertise, I provide practical skills in the concerned field. Strategic thinking, ambition and perseverance belong to my personal strengths. If you have an interesting job-offer or you have any further queries, do not hesitate to contact me. Kind regards, Barbara Goiser
