08/11/2019

On November 9, 1989, the Berlin Wall was opened, and the process of reunifying West and East Germany began. 30 years have passed during which the two halves of the country politically and economically grew back together.

The article “30 Years After the Wall” published in the MARKETS Germany magazine of Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) excellently explains this strong growth – especially in the eastern half. Read the full article and find out more about the economic development and the unique business opportunities of the six federal eastern states – Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Thuringia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and, of course, Berlin.
