Felix Kalkowski, Vice President of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI), conducted an interview with Germany's Bayern International on February 21st.

 

The 13-year EU trade agreement and 140-year partnership between Germany and South Korea have resulted in a trade volume of 34 billion euros in 2023, with Germany enjoying a surplus in exports. Despite the 8500-kilometer distance between Korea and Bavaria, there are numerous commonalities in terms of economic potential and cultural similarities.

 

The KGCCI serves as a mediator between Bavarian and Korean companies, assisting Bavarian businesses in entering the Asian market.
