Public Recognition of WIR mentorship
On International Women's Day 2025, KGCCI's female leadership group, "WIR 2.0," held a kick-off event at the residence of Ambassador of Switzerland to south Korea H.E. Dagmar Schmidt Tartagli.
More than 100 participants, notably female executive mentors and mentees from a wide range of industries and companies, attended the event, marking a strong start to this year’s mentorship program.
Aligned with the theme for International Women’s Day 2025, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,” Yeaji Kim, South Korea’s first visually impaired lawmaker, emphasized the ongoing challenges women face due to intersecting forms of discrimination and called for continued efforts toward a more inclusive and just society.
