(Seoul, May 27, 2024) The Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI, President & CEO Martin Henkelmann), led by President Martin Henkelmann, will host the ‘Korea-Germany Cosmetic Conference and Networking’ event on June 11, 2024, at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun.
This event is part of a business development program in the cosmetics industry, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. It aims to enhance cooperation and partnership opportunities between German and Korean companies in the cosmetics sector.
Session 1 will focus on the current state of the cosmetics industries in Germany and Korea. Thomas Keizer, President of the German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association, and Dr. Il-hoon Yang, President of the Korean Cosmetic Industry Association, will share the latest trends from both countries. The session will also feature presentations from eight German companies, showcasing their expertise in high-quality brush manufacturing, skin regeneration skincare, makeup products, and consulting services on European cosmetic regulations, all proudly under the "Made in Germany" banner.
Session 2 will provide a platform for speed networking discussions, exploring collaboration possibilities between German and Korean companies. The conference will be a venue for sharing insights and outlooks on the cosmetics industry of both nations. It is open to executives and employees from cosmetics and beauty companies, distribution companies, associations, and professionals involved in sales planning, research and development, international business, and new business ventures.
