Sang-Kyung Kim, President of the International Finance Center and Core Mentor of the KGCCI Women in Leadership (WIR) program, was recently featured in an interview for K-First Woman series by E-Today.
She is known as Korea’s first female foreign exchange dealer and the first female outside director in the financial sector, breaking the glass ceiling by proving her competence in a male-dominated field. After witnessing the setback of female leadership during the Asian Financial Crisis, she founded the Women in Finance Network (WIFN) in 2003. For over 20 years, she has been dedicated to expanding opportunities for women in finance through international conferences, mentoring, and leadership training.
