About the German Energy Solutions Initiative

German Energy Solutions Initiative supports the market entry of German companies in the energy sector into Korea through programs such as Foreign Trade Fairs, Fact-Finding Missions, and Energy Trade Missions. Through these programs, German companies are given the opportunity to visit Korea and vice versa, Korean market stakeholders can explore Germany.

As the implementing organization of the initiative in Korea, KGCCI has been successfully carrying out a variety of these programs in cooperation with our German coordinating partner.

Energy Trade Missions

The Energy Trade Mission is a program designed to support German companies in the energy sector. It offers them the opportunity to showcase their technologies and products, and exchange with relevant Korean companies and institutions.

The program covers diverse topics including hydrogen, energy efficiency, system integration, and offshore wind. The delegation consists of German companies with specialized expertise in these areas. Comprising a conference, company visits, and B2B meetings with potential Korean partners, the program provides a platform for German companies to develop market entry strategies and establish initial partnerships in Korea.

Fact Finding Mission

The Fact-Finding Mission is a program that offers Korean decision-makers from institutions and companies in the energy sector the opportunity to visit Germany, where they can explore the latest developments in the energy industry and engage directly with local experts and companies.

Covering a range of topics such as cogeneration, building energy efficiency, offshore wind, and green hydrogen production, the program provides participants with deeper insights into the German market and technology trends in these fields.

Foreign Trade Fairs 

Foreign Trade Fairs, as part of the German Energy Solutions Initiative, is a program in which German companies participate in major trade fairs in Korea under a joint pavilion.

At these events, they have the opportunity to showcase their products, solutions, and technological expertise, while engaging directly with potential Korean partners.
