KGCCI DE is looking for a committed Assistant Manager for the Ausbildung (Vocational Training) Team.
Who We Are
The Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) has been serving as an official representative of German Business in Korea since its foundation in 1981. It is the second largest foreign chamber of commerce in Korea with a growing network of around 500 members. KGCCI also belongs to the global German Chamber Network (AHK) with 150 German Chamber offices in 93 countries and 50,000 members worldwide. Its umbrella organization is the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) with offices in Berlin and Brussels, serving the 79 Chambers in Germany (IHK) and their 3.6 million German member companies.
One of KGCCI’s signature programs is vocational training (Ausbildung: please see website for more information) in Korea, which is implemented in collaboration with Korean companies based on the German standard models, to educate and train young Koreans into qualified skilled workforce for the companies. The Ausbildung Team is looking for a committed Assistant Manager who will strengthen the development of the program.

Role & Main Responsibilities
- Communicate with external and internal stakeholders in vocational training.
- Monitor strategically the operation of the training programs.
- Plan and organize trainings and events.
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients.
- Explore new opportunities, such as professions and companies, with the aim of expanding dual vocational training to other industries and professions in Korea.
- Administer and manage the vocational training programs.
Requirements
- Languages: Korean (native or fluent), English (business proficient), German (desirable but not required)
- Work Experience: Minimum 3 years, preferably in relevant fields, such as HR or training
- Academic Degree: Minimum bachelor’s degree
- Desirable: Degree in pedagogy/education, sociology, or related fields
- Hard Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (minimum Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Soft Skills: Communication & interpersonal skills, project management skills

We are seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial Sales Assistant to grow and nurture the existing customer base in the Asian market. The Sales Assistant Asia is responsible for supporting management of current business and relationships as well as developing plans and strategies for sales growth. This opportunity offers substantial scope for professional growth within a successful, worldwide-operating company.
Responsibilities
- Manage all sales activities and technical support of key accounts in the Asian market
- New customer acquisition and business development for the Asian market
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecast
- Support headquarters with quality management / complaint management
- Monitoring test series at customer site in cooperation with headquarters
- Market analysis and monitoring of measures for consistent implementation of the sales strategy
- Support sales controlling / CRM system
- Exploration of new sales channels according to sales strategy
- Introduction of new products in existing and new markets as well as implementation of corresponding marketing measures
- Evaluation of impulses from the sales departments and R&D
- Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
- Perform product presentations at customer site
- Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering or Business discipline
- High degree of technical aptitude
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with a technical background
- Experience in the chemical semiconductor industry is advantageous
- Enthusiasm for new ideas and technologies and a commitment to company’s product portfolio
- Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently and reliably prioritize tasks across a variety of projects
- Works well in a team and independently
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Available for frequent travel to Germany
- Knowledge of German or Korean would be of value but is not required
