Pascal Misoph, Manager at the Saxony Economic Development Corporation (WFS), who participated in a semiconductor industry business event hosted by the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI), shared in an interview with Money Today his insights that Saxony’s circular economy, companies’ resource-efficient processes, and relatively low cost of living create a favorable environment for semiconductor companies to grow in Europe.
He also highlighted that Korea’s globally competitive strengths in memory and advanced manufacturing, together with Europe’s application industries such as automotive and robotics, can form a complementary structure in adjacent areas of the supply chain.
