The Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korean Council of Women's Organizations (KCKW) in February this year. In a recent interview with Asia Business Daily, KCKW President Myung Huh presented a future direction for gender equality and the women's movement.
President Huh emphasized the need to address unfair discrimination while striving for a language of integration and empathy. To achieve this, she proposed innovating childcare environments to address low birth rates, preventing career interruptions for women, and expanding female leadership representation while fostering solidarity among women leaders.
