Robin Winkler, Chief Economist Germany at Deutsche Bank and a member of the KGCCI, shared deep insights on Germany’s economic transformation and the future of industrial competitiveness in an interview with Economy Chosun.

 

He emphasized that Germany, a manufacturing powerhouse centered on the automotive industry, is seeking breakthroughs in AI, electric vehicles, and physical AI by leveraging its strong industrial base.

 

He also highlighted the similarities between the Korean and German economic and industrial structures, noting Korea’s rapid transition to advanced technologies, its flexibility in responding to market changes, and its export competitiveness.
