The Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI, President & CEO Marie Antonia von Schönburg) held its 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 25, at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, where members elected a new Board of Directors and reaffirmed the Chamber's commitment to strengthening Korean-German economic relations.
Christoph Nowak, Managing Director of Dachser Korea, was elected as the new German Joint Chairperson of KGCCI. With more than 20 years of international experience in logistics and supply chain management, Christoph Nowak has held senior positions at 4flow and DB Schenker across Europe and Asia before joining Dachser Korea in 2024. He has also served on the KGCCI Board over the past two years, actively contributing to Korean-German business relations and industry dialogue.
Alongside the Chairpersons, Steffen Trabert, SVP Sales APAC & Managing Director of Köber Korea Co., Ltd., was elected German Vice Chairperson. He brings more than two decades of leadership experience across Asia. Prior to joining Körber Pharma earlier this year, he served as President of ILLIES Korea and held senior executive positions within the Group. His extensive experience in Korea and the broader Asia-Pacific region has contributed significantly to strengthening German-Korean business ties.
KGCCI also announced the appointment of new treasurer Jung-Wook Seo, CEO, TÜV SÜD Korea Ltd.; and four new board members: Peter Andersson, President / Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Korea Ltd., Mathias Busse, Representative Director, CEO of Porsche Korea Ltd., JinA Lee, President of Bayer Korea Ltd. and Paul H Lee, Chief Representative of Airbus Korea Ltd.
