Antonio Randazzo, German Chairperson of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) and CEO of Star Truck Korea, recently appeared on KBS World Radio’s program “So fern, so nah”, where he shared insights on the achievements of the Ausbildung program and the future of Korea-Germany industrial cooperation.
During the interview, he emphasized that the Ausbildung program is not simply a vocational training initiative, but a sustainable platform for talent development, industrial competitiveness, and long-term partnership between Korea and Germany. He explained that the program represents one of the successful implementations of the German dual vocational education system in Korea, combining practical in-company training with structured academic education to cultivate highly skilled professionals for future industries.
He also highlighted the growing cooperation between Korea and Germany, mentioning the strategic MOU with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education (SMOE), the role of vocational education in the AI-driven industrial era, and the expansion of the Ausbildung program into new industries and areas of specialization.
