The Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the German Journalists Network, marking a new step in fostering closer media exchange and mutual understanding between Germany and Korea. As part of this cooperation, Dr. Felix Lill, a journalist representing the German Journalists Network, visited Korea and met with KGCCI to exchange views on Korea's business landscape and discuss preparations for a special media visit to Korea.
From October 22 to November 1, around a dozen journalists from leading German media outlets will visit Korea to report on a wide range of topics, including the Korean economy and innovation ecosystem, AI and advanced technologies, and the Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) 2026 in Seoul. Through this initiative, KGCCI aims to strengthen long-term media relationships and help showcase Korea's dynamic economy and its growing role as a strategic partner for Germany and Europe.
