Mercedes-Benz Korea Builds an ESG-Oriented Talent Strategy Through “Ausbildung”

The article focused on how Ausbildung, introduced and expanded in Korea through cooperation between the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) and German companies, is taking root as an ESG-based and sustainable employment model.

The article focused on how Ausbildung, introduced and expanded in Korea through cooperation between the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) and German companies, is taking root as an ESG-based and sustainable employment model.

 

In particular, through the case of Mercedes-Benz Korea, the article illustrated how Ausbildung is operated as a structured vocational training model that combines on-the-job training with theoretical education, emphasizing that talent development through the program contributes to enhancing both service quality and brand trust.

 

The article further suggested that expanding vocational education to address changes in the future mobility industry, including electric vehicle maintenance, is emerging as a key factor supporting both ESG management and industrial competitiveness. This also highlighted KGCCI’s role in promoting a sustainable talent ecosystem through Ausbildung.
