The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and KGCCI have signed a MOU to support the employment of vocational high school students and strengthen industry-customized education. The two organizations discussed strategies for the domestic application and expansion of the German "Ausbildung" vocational training model.
Under this agreement, the Ausbildung program will expand to vocational high schools across Seoul. The program highlights a dual structure that combines on-the-job training with theoretical education, aiming to cultivate specialized talent ready for immediate field deployment through collaboration with global automotive companies.
Notably, a recruitment linkage program for 110 students is being promoted through 'Matching Day in Seoul.' This initiative suggests a new vocational education model that transcends simple job support, simultaneously addressing youth employment and the labor supply challenges in the industrial sector.
