Passengers flying with Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Jin Air, Air Busan, and Air Seoul are not permitted to use or charge portable batteries (power banks) onboard aircraft.
This measure has been introduced to reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires. Power banks must be kept within arm’s reach at all times and must not be stored in overhead bins.
