POSITION OVERVIEW & JOB DESCRIPTION
The Finance Manager ensures that the Korea entity operates with strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and commercially sound decision making.
Beyond technical finance responsibilities, the role requires the Finance Manager to act as a business partner and informal leader within the subsidiary, helping maintain alignment with regional and global standards.
The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements, and supporting business decisions through financial insights.
The Finance Manager will also work closely with colleagues across APAC, our Global Service Center (SGS), and the wider Sennheiser finance community.
1. Financial Compliance & Governance
- Ensure statutory compliance with Korean accounting and tax regulations
- Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
- Coordinate audits and statutory reporting
- Maintain strong internal controls and corporate governance
2. Finance Operations
- Oversee accounting outputs produced through the AR/AP Hub
- Ensure AR/AP processes performed offshore meet local compliance requirements
- Manage banking relationships and treasury matters
- Monitor working capital and cash flow
3. Business Partnering
- Support business with financial insights and analysis
- Provide financial perspective on operational decisions
- Review pricing, margins and commercial opportunities
4. Regional Integration
- Coordinate with APAC finance leadership and global finance teams
- Work with the AR/AP Hub on finance processes
- Support global finance transformation initiatives
Direct reporting position: GL accountant (may change depending on the structure)
Interfaces:
- External: Customers, suppliers, auditors, tax advisors, banks, insurance brokers, regulatory authorities
- Internal: Management Teams, Corporate Functions (HR, IT, Finance, Controlling, Legal), Supply Chain & Repair Teams, Regional and Global Finance Teams
ELIGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar
- Professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA) is an advantage
- 5–10 years’ experience in finance roles within multinational companies
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/K-IFRS and local tax requirements
- Experience with statutory audits, regulators, banking operations, and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience working with regional or global finance teams
- Experience working with shared services or offshore accounting models is advantageous
- Languages: Korean (native or fluent), English (business fluent)
- Clear communicator who can work well with people at all levels
- High accuracy, good judgment, and a sense of ownership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a lean setup
- Adaptable and open to change, especially in a transforming finance environment

The Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) is the flagship event for business leaders, executives and political representatives to discuss and promote economic relations between Germany and Asia-Pacific. Since 1986, the conference has been held biennially in various locations across the Asia-Pacific region, and 2026 will mark the third time Seoul hosts this global forum following previous editions in 1992 and 2007.
APK is jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), and the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) in Asia-Pacific. The APA-Chairman, President and CEO of Siemens AG Roland Busch, and the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Katherina Reiche, are the co-chairs.
As the local host, the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) is forming a dedicated team to deliver the event on October 29-31, 2026 at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, and we are now inviting applications for the role of Event Coordinator.
Position Overview
As Event Coordinator, you will work closely with the Team Lead to support the planning and execution of this large-scale international conference. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to a high-profile global event, collaborate with diverse international stakeholders, and develop valuable experience in event operations and project management.

Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day project support to ensure smooth planning and execution of APK 2026.

- Support the development of event materials, presentations, signage, on-site documentation.
- Conduct research, prepare reports, maintain project timelines, checklists, and databases.
- Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and administrative tasks as needed.
- Contribute to on-site event operations during the conference, including setup, registration desk, room coordination, and attendee support.
- Collaborate closely with in-house teams and counterparts in Germany & Asia-Pacific.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in event coordination, project support, or operations
- Languages: German (bilingual or native), Korean & English (proficient)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate & manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience working with international stakeholders is an advantage

- Conduct basic research, data entry, and database maintenance as directed.
- Assist with on-site event operations.
- Provide general team support to ensure smooth workflows and timely execution of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in event support, administrative assistance, project support, or similar operational roles – this may include part-time roles, student roles, or non-paid, volunteer experience.
- Languages: Korean & English (working proficiency), German (basic or more)
- Good organizational and time-management skills, clear communication skills, attention to detail, willingness to support hands-on and operational tasks

POSITION OVERVIEW & JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Representative in the newly created office of JOWAT Korea will be responsible for the business growth in the country, introducing the JOWAT products to industrial customers especially in the Automotive and Consumer Electronics sectors.
A. Sales Management
- Develop clients in the Automotive and Consumer Electronics sectors as well as other industrial adhesive applications (except wood and furniture) to meet the sales targets.
- Provide a weekly detailed working and client visit plan and carry out accordingly.
- Submit the necessary reports to the superior on time, such as client visit plan, sales reports, and forecasts.
- Collect marketing and competitor information in time.
- Establish and maintain long-term and stable relations with distributors as well as build excellent relations with machinery suppliers and related material suppliers.
- Participate in marketing events, such as trade shows and related seminars.
- Actively engage in first contacts and expanding the customer base.
- Manage the necessary approvals and specifications for JOWAT products.
- Provide the necessary market transparency (i.e. competitor products and prices as well as market trends) to develop meaningful actions and strategies.
- Manage the information flow between the market requirements and regional HQ.
- Define product adaptations and follow up with the change requests to R&D in China & Malaysia.
B. Liaise with KOREA Sales Manager (currently MD) and Technical Service Managers in China & Malaysia
- Secure timely information update from and to KOREA Sales Manager (currently MD).
- Make sure everyone understands the needed product and service proposition to customers.
- Take part in quarterly sales meetings.
ELIGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of sales experience in relevant industries (e.g., adhesives, automotive QC/QA).
- Bachelor’s degree or similar in industrial engineering or chemistry (e.g., material science).
- Language proficiencies: Korean (native or bilingual), English (business proficient).
- Experience in financial planning & management (planning & forecast, monitoring & reporting, collection process).
- Possess: strong customer service orientation, communication & networking skills, analytical skills, self-motivation & achievement drive, team player mindset with intercultural competence
