Hyun-Nam Park, Branch Manager at Deutsche Bank AG Seoul, is not only the first female representative of a domestic and foreign investment bank in South Korea but also the first Korean female chairperson of KGCCI. Recently, she was re-elected as chairperson, setting a record as the first Korean female chairperson to be re-elected.

In an exclusive interview with Insight Korea, she introduced the main roles of KGCCI, which is the second-largest foreign chamber in South Korea with around 500 member companies and is part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK), spanning 93 countries and 150 locations worldwide, under the umbrella of DIHK.

During the interview, she also shared her goals for her second term, which include supporting member companies amid challenging economic conditions, organizing successful events for the 140th anniversary of the Korea-Germany relationship, maintaining strong momentum in FDI, modernizing the Korea-EU FTA, and enhancing KGCCI's brand power.

Furthermore, she provided encouraging advice for women in the workplace, stressing the importance of being prepared to seize any given opportunity and setting clear goals for their desired career path.
