KGCCI Half-Year Economic Outlook 2019
In cooperation with Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ), we cordially invite you to the KGCCI Half-Year Economic Outlook 2019.
The KGCCI Half-Year Economic Outlook gives you exclusive insight into the economic development in Korea, with facts & figures and food for thought for your businesses.
Korea as a high-tech country, with its chaebol power and its strength in implementation has been an attractive location for business and investment for many years. Economically, however, South Korea seems to drift into a more difficult situation right now: Bank of Korea keeps on revising the growth rate for 2019, job growth remains incremental, and major industries like construction are suffering. The trade war between the US and China and now also between Japan and Korea make Korean companies and their German suppliers feel the heat even more.
Innovation, new growth industries, digital transformation, and a fast time-to-market environment is crucial for the economic development of the country.
