Apply Now for 11th KGCCI Innovation Awards: Innovate Today, Transform Tomorrow!
(Seoul, March 4, 2025) The Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry invites innovative companies in South Korea to apply for the “11th KGCCI Innovation Awards” by May 14, 2025.
Initiated in 2015, the 11th KGCCI Innovation Awards, hosted by the KGCCI and officially supported by the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS), aims to support companies that create value in the Korean market through innovative products, processes, and technologies. The awards also aim to foster new business collaboration between South Korea and Germany.
The awards are open to all companies operating in South Korea, regardless of industry or size. Eligible companies can submit their applications via the KGCCI website. Entries will be evaluated by a Korean-German panel of distinguished judges from business, academia, and research, and assessed based on the degree of innovation, market performance, impact on company performance, benefits for society, diversity and inclusion.
Hoje Woo, Senior Vice President of the KGCCI, stated, “Innovation fuels progress, and Korea and Germany thrive on it. We invite all innovators to showcase their achievements and shape the future with us.”
The winners of the 11th KGCCI Innovation Awards will be announced later in the year at a grand ceremony in Seoul, attended by distinguished leaders from the business and political sectors. The winning companies will enjoy a range of benefits, including enhanced visibility, valuable networking opportunities, and access to potential investors and partners through KGCCI’s extensive business network. As an additional benefit, winners will be granted one-year access to KGCCI’s German office, providing them with a prime opportunity for closer engagement with the German market and its network. Additionally, non-member winners will be granted a one-year complimentary KGCCI membership, unlocking opportunities to engage with German companies and explore markets in Germany.
