KAIT and KGCCI Sign MoU to Strengthen Cooperation in the ICT Sector

The Korea Association for ICT Promotion (KAIT) and the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI, President & CEO Martin Henkelmann) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the ICT sector. The signing ceremony, held on December 16th at the KGCCI premise in Seoul, Korea.

This agreement aims to promote exchanges between Korean and German ICT companies and establish a foundation for mutual growth by sharing trends and information in the digital industry. Through this collaboration, the two organizations plan to actively support expanding business opportunities and facilitating global market entry for companies from both countries.

Under the agreement, KAIT and KGCCI will strengthen cooperation in various areas, including: Expanding business opportunities for their respective members, Supporting local market entry for companies from each country, Coordinating efforts for international ICT events such as exhibitions and Exchanging information on industry, technology, and policy trends in the ICT sector.

The partnership builds on previous joint initiatives by the two organizations, including their successful collaboration at IFA 2024, one of the world’s leading consumer electronics trade shows, held in Berlin last September. Both parties also agreed to utilize international exhibitions, such as Korea's World IT Show and Germany's IFA, to create further opportunities for business exchange.

Lee Chang-hee, Vice President of KAIT, expressed his optimism about the collaboration and said, "By leveraging KAIT's international cooperation network, we aim to not only help ICT companies in Korea and Germany grow in their domestic and international markets but also lay the groundwork for new business opportunities."
