[Column] Winds of change: Germany and Korea power green revolution

Dr. Martin Henkelmann, President and CEO of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI), shared his thoughts on the climate action ahead of COP29 and German-Korean collaboration in green energy in an opinion piece published in The Korea Times on Oct 9. 

He emphasized that Germany and Korea must overhaul their supply chains to meet carbon neutrality goals by 2045 and 2050, respectively. Dr. Henkelmann also highlighted Korea’s Constitutional Court ruling mandating a science-based path to carbon neutrality.
